The FORESEE research program aims to move beyond a purely technological approach to the ecological transition and place the humanities and social sciences at the heart of collective resilience. In the face of the “reality schism”—the disconnect between the climate emergency and the inertia of action—this project analyzes how individuals and organizations perceive and experience the transformations in their environment through their emotions, narratives, and everyday experiences.

Within CERAG, the six research areas—each corresponding to a research project—are: 

• Innovative financial strategies to address the consequences of climate change,
• The development of new business models that incorporate sustainability considerations as part of a diversification strategy,
• The establishment of an observatory dedicated to students' perceptions and representations of the transition
• Eco-Friendly Care in the Healthcare Sector
• Assessing the Environmental Impacts of Business Angels' Investments
• A study of the balance between litigation risks and sustainability for businesses. 

By exploring these dynamics in vulnerable areas such as coastal regions, mountainous areas, and urban centers, FORESEE documents the social mechanisms that hinder or promote adaptation in order to build a more just and inclusive social contract.
