Chair in Management and Occupational Health (MANSAT)

Established in 2013, the MANagement and Occupational Health Chair is dedicated to bringing together researchers and faculty members with professionals who wish to share not only the challenges they face but also the resources they have developed.

The MANSAT Chair is:

• A place for exchange
• A place for mutual learning
• A way to conduct research that addresses real-world issues
• Meetings with experts who share the same concerns
• Shared resources: tools, methods, and training programs

The MANSAT Chair aims to help improve the functioning of organizations and the working and health conditions of their employees. It brings together some 20 researchers who study management issues in the broadest sense and occupational health.

The chair's partners come from a variety of fields: 

• Private companies 
• Local governments
• Public organizations
• Prevention organizations

Objectives

The chair's objective is to produce knowledge useful for improving occupational health management. This involves developing methods, tools, models, frameworks, training modules, intervention mechanisms, and organizational support strategies to address this issue.

However, we believe that knowledge in this area must be built with professionals in the field, whether they are managers, Human Resources Managers, employees, prevention specialists...

The focal point of this team is Grenoble IAE and the Université Grenoble Alpes which hosts a team whose members generally work in institutions in the Rhône-Alpes region. However, due to life's changes and career paths, some move away but wish to continue working with us. This is how we now find members of the chair in Switzerland, Montpellier, Paris, Mulhouse, Casablanca, and Montreal!
