CCO

Developing Organizations' Creative Capabilities

Objective

CCO’s scientific objective is to identify the components of creative capabilities that enable a company to be more creative and innovative. The goal is to move beyond the methodological individualism of previous research on creativity by viewing it as an organizational capability in its own right. The research draws on case studies and an international quantitative survey in the creative industries to identify the configurations of resources, practices, processes, and factors that constitute creative capabilities. The industrial objective is to develop a diagnostic tool and educational case studies for executives and students to help develop the creative capabilities of organizations.
