serious game
Sol’i’Terre offers a simple and interactive experience designed to help users better understand an often-overlooked yet essential element: the soil. Through an online game, players gradually discover what soils are made of, their role in ecosystems, and the many services they provide on a daily basis. Sol’i’Terre is an adaptation of the Fresque du Sol, incorporating its text and visual elements.
Objectives
The game guides players through various stages: identifying soil components, understanding soil functions, identifying threats to the soil, and recognizing the stakeholders involved in soil management. This step-by-step approach helps structure knowledge while making complex issues accessible.
By making these mechanisms more tangible, Sol’i’Terre aims to raise awareness of environmental issues related to soil. It highlights the connections between our consumption patterns and the condition of the soil, and encourages us to consider possible courses of action for more sustainable management.
Designed for the general public, the game serves as both an educational tool and a means of raising awareness, demonstrating that a better understanding of soils is the first step toward better preserving them.
