Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a relatively new concept in the field of organizational behavior. The reason for choosing OCB as a research topic lies in its positive relationship with unit performance. Research has shown that OCB helps maximize organizational performance in companies. It is therefore beneficial for managers to understand how various variables influence OCB. This understanding can assist managers in their duties. To date, most research in the field of OCB has been conducted in Western countries. The Vietnamese context in particular, and the Asian context in general, are different. It has been shown that OCB can vary by country. In Vietnam, many Western multinational companies are establishing operations there due to labor costs and market potential. This study aims primarily to better understand OCB in a different cultural context for these companies.
