Abstract

Social entrepreneurship plays a significant role in the development of the country's economy, particularly in times of crisis. However, social entrepreneurs often face resource constraints, as well as institutional and legislative difficulties. These obstacles can slow down the processes of creating and developing social enterprises.
To this end, this research aims to understand how social entrepreneurs mobilize resources through entrepreneurial processes such as bricolage, effectuation, and causation in resource-poor environments. What factors influence an entrepreneur's behavior regarding the adoption of a particular resource mobilization process, and at what stage of the life cycle does a social enterprise most tend toward adopting a specific resource mobilization process?
We chose to adopt a qualitative approach, and more specifically the semi-structured individual interview method, in order to understand in depth the resource mobilization processes adopted by social entrepreneurs and their impact on entrepreneurial success.
