A Journey in Marketing: From Professional Practice to the Ethics of Business Practices

Bénédicte BOURCIER-BEQUAERT is a professor and marketing researcher at ESSCA School of Management. She worked for more than 12 years at major international corporations as a brand manager and holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Aix-en-Provence, which she earned in 2013; her dissertation focused on the portrayal of older adults in advertising.

She also conducts cross-disciplinary research on the circular economy in the textile sector, collaborating with researchers from other fields (logistics, strategy). Finally, she studies marketing ethics in collaboration with specialists in business ethics and white-collar crime.
