7th GESS Conference (Management of Social and Solidarity Enterprises)

The social and solidarity economy (SSE) now represents a significant and dynamic force in the economy, albeit one that varies depending on the legal status of organizations within this sector. However, we cannot yet speak of a "change of scale" regarding the influence of organizations falling under the legal definition of the SSE. This call for papers aims to critically explore another avenue: the potential for the SSE to spread through its influence on all actors, both public and private, within the "traditional" economy. In other words, it seeks to consider the SSE as a "source of inspiration" for evolving the goals and operating methods of organizations that do not fall within the narrow category of organizations whose legal status falls under the SSE.
